Rallyday-Backed Simplistic Adds Amazon and TikTok Shop Expertise With Tiide Purchase

The deal closed Sept. 21 after the two companies had already cross-sold services. Tiide’s team has joined Simplistic; financial terms were not disclosed.

Denver-based investor Rallyday Partners’ portfolio company Simplistic has acquired Tiide Commerce, adding Amazon and TikTok Shop expertise to its Shopify and lifecycle-marketing work. For brands selling through their own stores and third-party channels, the purchase brings those services into one business, according to Rallyday’s Sept. 24 announcement.

The deal closed Sept. 21. Simplistic and Tiide had already worked together through a cross-sell arrangement; the acquisition turns that relationship into common ownership. Tiide’s founder-led team has joined Simplistic, Rallyday said.

That change gives a brand seeking help beyond its own online store a way to obtain Amazon and TikTok Shop services from the same company that provides Simplistic’s Shopify and lifecycle-marketing work. Rallyday describes the purchase as Simplistic’s first acquisition since it invested in the company.

Financial terms were not disclosed, so there is no public purchase price to attach to the deal. The confirmed business change is the completed addition of Tiide’s team and channel expertise to a company backed by a Denver investor.
